Think Organic!

I think that it is a very important responsibility we have to take care of mother nature. For a while now I have been trying to use only nature friendly products. I thought it would be a good idea to post which ones I have found that work really well. For shaving cream I use Kiss My Face shaving cream in Vanilla. This cream foams up really well and also smells great! It's a little pricey (around $8) but I find you don't need to use a lot to get a great shave.

For shampoo I have been using Jason Natural Apricot Keratin Shampoo. I also sometimes use their Natural Sea Kelp Conditioner which leaves my hair really shiny and healthy looking. Another one of my favorite conditioners is Kiss My Face Green Tea and Lime. It is a really light conditioner that never ways down my hair and has the most amazing scent. All of these products have been great. I love knowing that I am helping do the earth well. Every time you go to purchase something, think about if its harmful to the earth? Most grocery stores have a "natural" or "organic" isle. You can find anything from organic yogurt to dish washing liquid.

Just one of them days

I live on the rainy West Coast, and today was no exception. But there is almost something so comforting about the rainy grey weather. It's a sign that its time to stay indoors, put on some comfy clothes and be a hermit! :) Well for me being a hermit consists of creating some jewelry, cooking warm comforting soup for lunch and maybe chatting it up a bit on Etsy. Its kinda nice to know that your not missing out on anything outside and can concentrate on being you. I like being home its just a nice feeling.

Need a great Christmas or birthday gift ?

Here is a gift that is one size fits all. I absolutely became obsessed with these aprons when I purchased one from Boojiboo on Etsy. If you want to look super cute while cooking these are super stylish. There are a ka-zillion different patterns to choose from and most for under $30!
