Photographing My Favorite Ocean Communities

Yesterday I went to my very first "Meet Up" Group. It was one for photography, where we all gathered in Steveston  B.C. a quaint little fishing town off of Richmond B.C.
Unfortunately we have been having this heavy fog in the Lower mainland which can be great for photography for the most part, but in Steveston it was not as heavy just more of a heavy cloud cover. As any photographer knows it's way better to have some light to play with in your photos.

Anyways here are a few from out in Steveston. If you live in the Lower mainland of B.C. I highly recommend going here if you haven't, there are a ton of coffee shops, restaurants and cute boutiques to discover. Walk down the boardwalk to check out the old fish canning factories and many old historical fisherman's houses at Britannia Shipyard.

After that I went back home to Surrey where I live, had a wonderful lunch at De Dutch (my favorite breaky place) and went to check out the fog at White Rock Beach

Here are some shots of mine. The sun was peaking through the fog a tad, so it made for some beautiful pictures.

I'm still learning how to use my camera in manual settings, hope that you enjoy these photo's. Feedback is appreciated!
